A major show for this leading minimalist sculptor Tim Harrisson, AS IT WAS IS NOW, at Messums Wiltshire consisted of new and older works rooted in a continued interest in landscape and our geological history. Harrisson works with a variety of stone from local Chicksgrove to Portland, Ham and Carrara marble. Harrisson is a keystone in an arch of artists recognised as studying the materiality of the stone for meaning and reveal its innate as well as potential sculptural qualities.
