Configuration of Nine Works is the second in a series of studio presentations of work by Tim Harrisson, curated by the artist. The studio, a pre-war stone barn situated within Ridge Farm buildings in south Wiltshire, is where Harrisson's practice was based since 1991.
The location of a working farm, surrounding landscape and geological terrain, along with the county's ancient local heritage, each played a critical part in shaping the artist's thinking over a period of thirty years. The intention for each presentation: to display specific bodies of work within these surroundings and to address the original context in which they were each conceived.
Sculptures by Harrisson are also on view in the sculpture park at the New Art Centre, which now represents the artist's estate. For all enquiries, including sales and all viewing appointments, please contact the New Art Centre at nac@sculpture.uk.com.
